Stress Free Thrifting @ 6:42 PM♥ 0Hugs~

I went thrifting yesturday for some stress relief :) I ended up getting quite a few things! I went in thinking and hoping I would be able to find a good pair of flats or heels but to no avail :( The ones I liked were just too big for me and the ones that did fit were not very attractive looking and dirty.

Shoe Thrifting

Rule #1 - You want to buy shoes that are in new to almost new conditon. I am not sure about you guys but I feel that if you buy shoes that are very worn are bad for your feet. You dont know what type of bacteria was left by the first owners so no matter how much you disinfect them I feel like "it" will always be there! So always stay on the safe side by making sure the shoe is in relatively new condition.

Rule #2 - Make sure the shoes fit. DUH. dont buy if you dont try.

Rule #3 - When you do get these shoes home, WASH& Clean them! SO IMPORTANT I cannot stress enough. If you can pop the shoes into the washer, DO IT. Like Rule #1 You dont know whos feet have been in the shoe. Think about all the sweaty and batericas in there. Wash it and then of course use antibacterial wipes to kill off any left over bacteria.

Rule #4 - Enjoy!

Okay on to my thrifted loot!

Cost: 99cents
I bought this shirt because most of wardrobe consists of very dark colors, thought I would add something neutral to my home look.

Cost: $3.98
This is a Max Studio Dressy top. Tag says retail price $98!! Fell in love with it the moment I saw it and was ecstatic to see that it was in Unused condition. Pick it up and held on to it for dear life :) A wonderful addition to my wardrobe indeed!

Cost : 99cents
Ann Taylor Silk Blouse. Loveeee the print and the fabric feels incredibly freeing and just so good on the skin. I don't know what I love more! The price or the shirt itself!
Cost: $2.98
Old Navy Cardigan! I have actually seen this cardigan at the thrift store about two times in the past two weeks. I have wanted to buy it but the price at the time was too high so I decided to see if it would come down to a price I was willing to buy and LO AND BEHOLD! its at a good price. I usually wouldn't pay 3 for a Old Navy item but I loved the color and feel and had to have it. I knew if I waited any longer it would be gone.

Cost: 99cents
Black turtle neck by I Dont Know :P 100% cotton and unused. Glad I didn't buy my turtlenecks during black friday or I would have wasted a lot of money!

Cost: $2.98
H&M purple sweater top. Feels incredibly soft against the skin and the color is beautiful! I would call it a dark lilac :) I am really into buying sweater this season to get ready for the cold weather coming ^__^

Cost: 99cents
Eddie Bauer Tee shirt, seemingly unused. The color is something I am not used to but I am excited to see how I can wear this!

Cost: 99cents
A plain brown leather belt. Latch is in good condition, a few scratches of good use. Love the feel.

Cost: 99cents and 45cents
Bought two little baggies of Misc items of soap bars by aveda and some tiny travel shampoo&conditioner sets. I usually dont buy these things but I thought What the heck !

Cost: 99cents
I have to confess!! I have a weird obsession with buying journals/notebooks/diaries. I have a whole box full of them, mostly unused but I have 3 in use currently for my private use, drawing and poetry.

WELL! I hope you enjoyed reading about my tiny adventure. I will try to post for the next time I go.

Moments That I love Glee! @ 3:25 PM♥ 0Hugs~

We Are Young by FUN. Performed by GLEE

Honestly This song is beautiful and every time I tear up (I have no clue why!) when I listen to it. Especially the part where Santana sings!
